About Rev. Dr. Diana Body

Pastor Body is called to the ministry as a under-shepherd of the body of Christ, at Life of Peace International Ministries. She attended Living Word Christian Center School of Ministry, where she was licensed and ordained under the leadership of Dr. William (Bill) Winston, Faith Ministries Alliance. She is also a member of W.A.R.  (World Assemblies Restoration) under the leadership of Bishop Anthony Leonard of San Antonio TX.

Pastor Body is a community leader with Westside Pastors Coalition for HIV/AIDS, and also Chair of Religious Affairs of the westside branch of the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People).  She is pursuing her Doctors of Theology (Th.D.) Degree at Atlantic Coast College of Religious Studies and Theological Seminary.

The passion, purpose and calling on Pastor Body’s life compelled her to start an outreach ministry in her community, to reach those who are incarcerated; and to serve as an outreach counselor of Prison Ministry at Juvenile Detention Center in Chicago.  She is a volunteer member of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children) and a board member of TAPROOTS (Teens, Adolescents and Parents Realizing Ongoing Orientations for Success).

Both organizations offer programs that are geared towards helping abused and/or neglected children with the purpose of keeping them from becoming a menace to society, by helping them find safe and permanent homes.
